Even if I'm fully vaccinated against COVID-19, going to the salon honestly still scares me. Still, the pandemic won't stop me from wanting to have my hair colored without spending a lot. LOL.

I've been going back and forth at Tricia Gosingtian's IG highlight when she tried the Liese creamy bubble color. Liese has colors that somewhat resemble what I'd usually go for when I'd have hair color treatment in the salon. Not only does their color selection looked nice but it says Liese can let you have that evenly colored hair.

Liese offers two categories for their colors: the Natural series and the Design series. The natural series are the more classic shades while the design series are the ones with more unique and vibrant shades. They also have the Blaune series for gray hair coverage.

I opted for the Milk Tea Brown from the natural series as I just wanted to lighten my hair color a bit.

my hair color was already colored somewhat dark brown before applying and I was aiming to lighten the shade a bit

I bought mine at Watsons app for Php 449. It says one box is enough for shoulder length hair. It contains the solution 1 (coloring solution), solution 2 (the foaming solution), foamer cap, instruction sheet, the skin test tool with gloves, and the rinse off treatment.

Mixing the solution was simple: add solution 1 to solution 2. Tilt is slowly for five times (they noted not to shake the mixture) then close with the foamer cap.

After mixing the solution, it was really a foamy "shampoo"!

it's really foamy and the gloves are high quality, too!

I skipped the skin test part since I was really excited. LOL. Also since I really didn't have any allergic reaction even when I had my hair colored at the salon. (But please, don't be like me. I was just really excited. Haha!)

I started by adding a generous amount of foam on top of my hair down to tips. I tried applying with one side first, trying to reach the roots that I can and combing it with my hand down to the tip. After finishing both sides, I tried re-applying the foam the other way around, starting now from the tip up to the roots just so I can make sure that it won't be just the top of my hair that the color is visible.

After re-applying from top to tip, tip to top and top to tip again, I applied one last amount to have my hair gathered to the top of my head. The whole process was basically just like shampooing your own hair.

it's supposed to look foamier lol

It says in the instructions to let it sit for 30 minutes. Based on some YouTube videos I watched, the color pay-off depends on how long you let it sit on your hair so I let it rest for two hours.

After two hours, I used my usual shampoo then used the rinse-off treatment as conditioner. Letting it sit for two hours was quite a long wait though I'm pretty happy with the result!

this was taken inside a vehicle and in pure outdoor lighting

Overall, maybe even if the pandemic is over I'd still go for Liese creamy bubble color again. It's easy to use, really provided an even color to the hair, and has a really good color payoff. The price is reasonable as well since I'd normally pay around Php 800 for hair color at our local salon with this hair length.

I'll perhaps try the Cool Ash color next time after it fades a bit again or maybe after two months :) Let me know if you tried Liese as well and how it turned out!
