Peanut Butter Fix

One of the usual partner for my "pandesal mood" is peanut butter. I usually enjoy it with toasted pandesal and dip it in coffee whether that's for breakfast or for snack. My recent peanut butter discovery is Medy's Peanut Butter proudly made in Romblon. I got to try the creamy and chunky variant.

Medy's peanut butter has that creamy texture even for the chunky variant. The chunky peanut butter has bits of peanut while the creamy variant has a smoother texture. With the first bite, my taste buds are greeted with the right amount of sweetness enveloped by the nutty taste that completes the whole experience.
I tried using the peanut butter to recreate snacks that I like to partner it with aside from my usual pandesal.
Apple-Peanut Butter Donuts
The creamy peanut butter is a great partner for the crunch the apple has to offer. Simply slice apples and also its center where the seeds are and top it off with peanut butter and chia seeds. The peanut butter gives a different salty and sweet additional flavor the the apples.

Banana Dip
Since the banana is softer compared to the apple, I opted for the crunchy peanut butter as it gives it more texture. The peanut bits go well with the softness of the banana.

Crunchy Banana Split
And yes, I used the banana on the previous photo and added it to my ice cream 'cause why not? Hehe. The chunky peanut butter gives more texture to the usual cookies and cream ice cream. Add the banana for a banana split-like dessert.

Both peanut butters are a delight depending on what I'm in the mood for. Not only does is taste good but it's also a good way to support locally made products.
